Back to School: Fall Favorites

OK OK, we know summer hasn't even ended yet, but the Autumn Winter season will be upon us before you can say 'Beast from the East'. So here, to help you get you ahead of the curve (and the change in double-digit temperatures), is our pick of the biggest Autumn Winter 2018 trends from London, Paris, Milan and New York. Black Amex at the ready, gentlemen. Just kidding. At love the brands you will be able to find all these styles ranging from luxury to affordable and designer to casual. Take your pick!  So, if you want to know which trends you should be investing in right now, take a look at our selection below and get up close and personal with the fashion world!

Checked Pattern

Who doesn't love a lumberjack? This season saw the revival of the classic checked pattern. And the more clashing those checks, the better. Donatella Versace led the charge, with one of her best collections in years. Bright checked donkey jackets came teamed with tartan trousers and plaid shirts. It was much the same at H&M, where super-oversized checks can be seen on equally oversized overcoats. If in doubt, team a classic plaid shirt with a check fisherman over-shirt to reach peak levels of cool.

Graphic T-Shirt

On t-shirts this season, we spotted Mickey Mouse at Uniqlo, as part of their highly Instagrammable new collaboration with Disney. Over in San Francisco, where things are always going to be a little more exciting, GAP's  new partnership with Marvel released a series of trendy tee's featureing the Avengers. Pair them up with jeans, chinos or a leather jacket and your autumn outfit is ready in seconds. The most creative way to express youself is here. If you can imagine it, i'm sure it's on a graphic tshirt somewhere!

Leather Bracelets

Still haven't hopped on the the male accessories trend? Leather bracelets are back, but to our surprise, not for the summer season. Spice up any look with a trendy bracelet and instantly look like a rock and roll lover. Massimo Dutti and Emporio Armani are offering large collections in a variety of colours. Our recommendation? Get a brown, a black and a grey one to match with almost any outfit. But beware, adhere to the trend at your own risk, as we're sure you will never want to let it go.

Leather Jackets

Another classic look is back to keep you warm as the seasons change. The bad boy biker jackets in dark leather are on the runway and should be going straight into your closet (if you don't already have one you can dust off from last autumn). Jack & Jones and Superdry have already integrated the trend into their new collections, offering a wide variety of colours and patterns to the classic leather trend. Also keep an eye out for the IT Brand Sandro and how they take us back to the 70's with their leather designs.

Tropical Print Shirts

From Prada’s archive flame print revival, the print shirt will run and run through next winter. Refreshing. Just like the leather bracelets, why not shake things up this season and wear summer prints in the autumn? I mean, temperature is psychological, right? Pull & Bear and New Look are running with the new trend and have coolest and most afforadable prints in their newest collection. Maybe take a risk and try the long sleeved ones too? Caps Fall Trend Men

Thick Solled Shoes

Both convenient, comfortable and trendy - thick solled shoes are back this season to keep you fashionable and warm. Timberland and Emporio Armani have a great collection of boots, sneakers and formal shoes that boost your height and ensure you're in with the autumn fashion.

Up there with the beanie this season, the cap racked up the most runway time during the Fall/Winter 2018-2019 collections. A special mention goes to the Italian houses who raised the game at Fendi and Gucci - who teamed up with US giant Major League Baseball. Pepe Jeans and Superdry jumped on the bandwagon and released a more affordable collection of caps will effects such as marl and satin caps.
